Fairfield University Mailbox door Bank circa 1950’s # 1832

Description

1950’s Fairfield University Mailbox Door Bank.  This mailbox door was retired in early 2023 from Fairfield University. It has been cleaned and oiled and is in full working condition with the original number. The door is set in a hand-crafted Rustic Ash box with a dark Oil and Wax finish. There is a slot in the front of the door that was used by students to exchange messages prior to the days of text and emails. This same slot is now used for coins.

This Fairfield University Mailbox Door Bank has the original combination and instructions are provided.  The door number can be changed with up to 5 digits of your choice at no additional cost.  Simply leave a note in the comments section at checkout with your new number. We can also change the combination using the tetters on each dial.  Bank measures 4.75″ wide x 4″ deep x 6″ Tall.
