Description
1920 Cast Bronze Eagle Post Office Door bank. We start with the 1920 Cast Bronze Eagle Post Office Door, and hand craft the box using highly figured American Walnut. The figure on the sides and top is called “flame”, and the box is cut so the Flame wraps around from side to top. The box has a penetrating natural oil finish with several top coats of Lacquer.
We install a coin slot in the top, and place felt pads on the bottom. The combination is fully functional and operating instructions are provided.
This is the Larger size Post Office Door. Sometimes referred to as # 2 size, the finished bank measures 6.5″ W x 7.5″ T x5″ D.
