Description

1960’s Penn State Mailbox Door Bank # 414. This door was made in the 1961 and has the date stamped on the inside. The door is Chrome platted Bronze. It spent many years in daily service in Cedar Hall, Penn State University and was retired in the spring of 2023. The door was purchased from Lion Surplus in the Spring of 2024. The Hand-Crafted box is made Red Oak that was salvaged from a Church Pew. It has a natural Oil and Wax finish. The box is cut so the grain wraps around the outside. There are felt pads on the bottom, and a coin slot on top. The lock is fully functional, and the combination is provided.
