1960’s Penn State Mailbox Door Bank # 304. The door was made in the 1960’s with the date stamped on the inside. It spent many years in daily service at Findlay Commons, Penn State University and was retired in the spring of 2023. Findlay Commons is located in the East Halls Residence Area. The doors were purchased from Lion Surplus in September of 2023. The box is hand crafted from Walnut that shows both early and late wood. I cut the box so the grain wraps around the outside to create a wrap around grain pattern. There are felt pads on the bottom, and PSU medallion coin slot on top. The lock is fully functional, and the combination is provided.
