Description
Fully restored 1886 Keyless Lock Old Mailbox Door. The door comes to us from the Franklin Wisconsin area where it spent many years in service. The cast Bronze door has been completely restored and included the original Beveled Glass and number. It is fully functional with the combination and opening instructions provided.
I hand crafted the box from Salvaged Black Walnut and used a continuous grain process to “wrap” the Walnut grain around the outside of the box. Coin slot on the upper back of the box to provide a finished look to the top of the box. Protective felt pads have been installed on the bottom.
This Old Mailbox Door from 1886 would make a great addition to any collector.
