1966 Penn State Mailbox Door Bank #407

Description

1966 Penn State Mailbox Door Bank # 407.  The door was made in the 1966 and has the date stamped on the inside.  It spent many years in daily service at Findlay Commons, Penn State University and was retired in the spring of 2023. Findlay Commons is located in the East Halls Residence Area.  The doors were purchased from Lion Surplus in September of 2023. The Hand-Crafted box is constructed from Black Walnut with a natural Oil and wax finish. The box is cut so the grain wraps around the outside. There are felt pads on the bottom, and a coin slot on top.  The lock is fully functional, and the combination is provided.
